At Seychelles Breweries Limited, brewing beer is a blend of tradition, experience, knowledge, and creativity. We take pride in every step – from selecting the finest malts and hops to fermenting with care and packaging with precision. The result?
A lineup of iconic beers such as Guinness, EKU Bavaria and the Seybrew flagship- that are consistently bold, balanced and brewed to be enjoyed.
Craftsmanship
- Malt- malt is the soul of the beer. Made primarily from barley that has been soaked, germinated and kiln-dried, malt provides the fermentable sugars needed for alcohol production. It also shapes the beer’s flavor, color, aroma and body.
- Hops- Hops add bitterness to balance the sweet malt and contribute to the distinct aromas and flavors. Hops also act as a natural preservative, helping to keep the beer fresh and stable.
- Water-Water is the foundation of every beer, making up about 90-95% of its content. Clean, high quality water is essential to crafting high quality exceptional beer.
- Yeast- A beer’s magic ingredient! Yeasts are responsible to transform sugars from malt into alcohol and carbon dioxide during fermentation. Yeast shapes the beer’s flavour, aroma and character, producing notes that range from fruity and spicy to clean and crisp.
Brewing Cycle from Milling to Filtration, each stage is monitored and controlled by the brewers to create the iconic beers of Seychelles.
Every batch of our products undergo regular microbiological, chemical and sensory testing. Nothing leaves our brewery until it meets our standards.
Our Ready-To-Drink (RTD) & Soft drinks production Process
Every beverage product produced is crafted through a carefully controlled and hygienic process that ensures great taste and consistency in every sip – from ingredient selection to final packaging.
Seychelles Breweries Limited produces a portfolio of carbonated soft drinks, RTD and Cider which includes Coca-Cola beverages, Smirnoff RTD brands, Slow Turtle Cider and our locally owned SeyPearl brands.
